Passionate

Off the top of my head I can name various things I'm passionate about.

My family. My friends. Track. Myself.

When I was small I had an idea of what I wanted my future to look like. I wasn't completely sure how I would get there, but I knew the general course of things. Fast forward 15 years later and I'm not so sure anymore. Things are a bit murky, and while I still know where I want to end up in some ways, in most I have no idea.

I think I want to change that. I know I should.

I've never been one to get much out of self-help books. I start them, but never finish. They always come off too preachy to me. It's probably just my cynicism because everyone else on the world loves them, but I just can't get into them.

I'm going to start with this video, from Rowena Tsai as a place to start and go from there. I at least want to get thinking about it.

What are you passionate about? What motivates you in your day to day? Who knows? Maybe not everyone needs a passion. I'm genuinely curious and love to hear different ideas and viewpoints on this front.
