A Quarter Century

And just like that, I've reached a quarter century. Like every other birthday I've ever had in my life, I don't feel any older. Or wiser. I'm just here, being me.

I thought about making one of those "24 Things I learned at 24" types of posts but decided not to. I didn't want to force myself to sit down and come up with a list of life lessons that may or may not have been learned within the last year.

I thought about making a post reflecting on how much things have changed since 24, but then I got lazy. I've been talking about change for a while now, but I think I'm ready to say I'm settled. I've found myself a routine, and despite how haphazard it may seem at times, it's a routine nonetheless.

I spent my birthday relaxing. I went to practice in the morning and proceeded to spend the rest of my day hanging around at home (doing nothing, of course) and fielding calls and texts from friends and family. All in all, I enjoyed it. And I'm ready to see what 25 has in store for me.
