The Gift Of Giving / Snapshots 02

Weather sure is strange. We’ll have days where it’s freezing and days where it almost feels like Springtime. Warm winter days feel nice but are always a little worrying.

I bought this sweater during Black Friday from Yesstyle, and was surprised by the quality. It’s definitely a new favorite. Buying from sites like Yesstyle can often be hit or miss, but I find as long as you give the reviews a good read, you don’t have much to worry about.

Week 2 with the HelloFresh meal kit. I enjoyed the food this week waaay more than last week. Everything tasted delicious and I made sure to save all the recipes for later. My favorite was the simple ragu. It was super quick and tasted like it had simmered for hours! I’m a huge fan of easy pasta for my lazy days so this will definitely be revisited in the near future.

I’ve never thought about it before, but this year I realized I love giving gifts to loved ones. Maybe it’s because I’m finally at a point in my life where I can afford to give a little more. Kind of.

Since we all travel to our respective homes for Christmas, we opened our gifts early. I got Flings some kick-ass Adidas gear that I knew she’d love. I also got some items for myself because, you know, I deserve it.

I’m really happy with everything I got, especially considering I haven’t bought new training or racing gear in years. With this holiday haul, I don’t expect to need anything new for a long while.

Ramon and Flings got me Mario Party for the Switch! I forced them to play with me as soon as all the gifts were opened. Of course, cheater Ramon ended up winning, but I plan to have many more rematches where he loses. * looks over at him with a smug look *

How do you feel about giving gifts? I know some people find it super stressful, but I love trying to figure out the perfect present for people. I’m interested to hear what you guys think, though.
