The Peril of Productivity

Do you ever have those days where you wake up and immediately want to go right back to sleep? I have them more often than I'd like. Today was definitely one of those days. Usually I have to head to practice pretty soon after that, so there's not much time to dread the day coming up. These days practice has been later in the day, which means more time to wallow in how unproductive I am in the morning.

One thing I will say is that once I get a good practice under my belt, I have a good few hours of super-productiveness before I crash again and have to slog my way through whatever I need to get finished.

Anyway, I say all this to tell you that my productivity comes in waves and like pretty much everything else in my life, is influenced by what happens on the track. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Probably bad.
