Week in Review | Home Sweet Home
This week started off pretty normally. I did longer accelerations out of starting blocks on Monday (40m vs. the usual 30). I got tired faster, but that was to be expected. What wasn't expected was how sore and run down I still felt come Wednesday. I ended up just listening to my body (and my coach) and taking the day off after warming up. It was a strange feeling having so much time freed in my day. After I finally comprehended I had nothing to do after warm-up, I sat there for a good minute to figure out what to do next. It was a really strange feeling lol. By Friday, I was feeling back to normal and got through my workout just fine, though.
I made it home (to Connecticut) on Friday and have been doing the usual "home" things - cooking, cleaning, and fixing every piece of technology my mom has struggled with since I've been gone. It took me a good 2 hours to get the printer up and running! 😆
Despite all that, I'm glad to be home. I rarely get to see my mom in person anymore. I'm not sure if that's just part of being an "adult" thing, or not, but it sucks. It at least makes me appreciate being home and all the mundane things that go along with it - even if I still complain about it 😝
Anyway, I'm going to go back to doing nothing with my favorite person in the world. Hope you're week went well!
Do any of you find yourselves doing chores whenever you visit your parents? I feel like I can't be the only one? ><

Wed – Rest Day - Warm-up
Thurs – Shakeout - Biking + General Strength
Fri – Jumps + Plyo + Speed Dribbles
Sat – Shakeout
